This question was part of our group conversation today while studying Chapter 20 in Luke. My answer seems brief, as I believe you need intentionality and action. It is wonderful to get to a point that you recognize a part of you that would benefit from change but once there, to that recognition, then what? This is the critical point of change, your response. Will you choose to be intentional and put something into action OR will you choose to sit there in your state of recognition and do nothing more about it. Change will only happen when you move past recognition and into intentionality and action. What do you think needs to be in place to make change?

The Book of Luke
We welcomed both new and returning ladies into our group this month and everyone has become fast friends. We are learning about Luke and his experiences with Jesus. There is so much encouragement and fellowship all around us. Everyone is openly sharing their thoughts and ideas. I am blessed to be apart of a group of women who are strong in their relationship with Christ. When I leave my Monday morning group of friends, I want to spend less time worrying and more time inviting everyone to the party !
22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life[b]? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

Comfortable enough now for change?
Well, most groups have been meeting now for a couple weeks and because of that we should be feeling comfortable and safe in our groups. It's in that comfort and safety represented in our group, that reminds us of the comfort and safety in Christ's love for us. So, are you ready to start stepping out for Christ? Share how you or someone in your group has stepped out and has felt God move in a way that is helping the life change happen within?
